The magnificent par-71 Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Tapatio Cliffs is a links style golf course that plays at 6,535 yards and has garnered many honors in its illustrious history. Golf Digest named it one of the 450 best public courses in the country and Lookout Mountain has been consistently voted one of the top 25 golf courses in the state of Arizona. In addition to hosting the Phoenix Celebrity Classic, the course has also hosted prestigious golf events such as the Arizona Senior Classic and the NBC Skills Challenge.
Featuring lush greens entwined by carefully preserved Sonoran Desert Terrain, this championship 18-hole course combines spectacular scenery with challenging play. In fact, you may see quail or even a coyote out on the course. The exciting 10th hole offers a 100 foot drop to the green and the Par 5 15th and 18th holes feature challenging water play down the stretch. The facility was such a hit with the Champions Tour players that they coined it the "Champagne Stop".
And after your round, visit the renowned golf shop (named one of the top 100 in the country) and check out its wide variety of equipment and sport clothing. Afterwards, visit the 19th hole - Pointe In Tyme Restaurant - where you can enjoy a beverage and a meal.
